Operations Manager Wanted

We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate person, with good attention to detail and a track record of supporting and motivating staff and a desire to make a difference to the homeless and vulnerably housed.

Join our fantastic team of staff and volunteers at The Bridge and help those in the Leicester community who are experiencing homelessness move from a place from despair to hope.

The Bridge Homelessness to Hope is a charity in Leicester that provides support and advocacy to anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing homelessness.

 

This includes those who are rough sleeping, sofa surfing, and people who are in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.

Impact Report 2024

Our Impact Report gives us a chance to reflect on the past year at The Bridge, what we’ve learnt, what challenges we faced, and what we’ve accomplished.

 

We celebrate our achievements, from staff growth, fundraisers, to the number of guests we helped find accommodation.

 

And most importantly, we give a huge thank you to everyone who has supported The Bridge in 2024 in one way or another and helped make our work possible!

We supported 215 people with access to healthcare and medical services in 2024.

Our work has helped to improve the wellbeing of people 3,970 times.

Our Hub services were accessed 18,941 times in 2024. A 51% increase fromthe previous year.

Lighthouse Project.

Mentoring

The Lighthouse Project supports homeless and vulnerably housed adults in Leicester who have multiple and complex needs.

​

The project aims to increase the mentees’ confidence, reduce social isolation, improve mental and physical health, and access practical help.

Real Stories

Everybody that visits The Bridge Homelessness to Hope has a different experience, but there is one common theme which runs through every story: they feel valued, cared for and loved. The Bridge is not just another drop-in centre, but is often the centre of people’s lives.
