The Big Sleep 2026

The Big Sleep 2026 will take place on Tuesday 17th March at the University of Leicester Centenary Square, in aid of The Bridge Homelessness to Hope!

Join us for a night under the stars to raise much-needed funds for our charity and awareness of homelessness in the city.

The Bridge Homelessness to Hope is a charity in Leicester that provides support and advocacy to anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing homelessness.

 

This includes those who are rough sleeping, sofa surfing, and people who are in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.

Impact Report 2024

Our Impact Report gives us a chance to reflect on the past year at The Bridge, what we’ve learnt, what challenges we faced, and what we’ve accomplished.

 

We celebrate our achievements, from staff growth, fundraisers, to the number of guests we helped find accommodation.

 

And most importantly, we give a huge thank you to everyone who has supported The Bridge in 2024 in one way or another and helped make our work possible!

OUR IMPACT

SINCE JANUARY 2020

Our work has helped to improve the wellbeing of people 5,784 times.

Our Hub services were accessed 19,050 times in 2025. An increase of 83% since 2022.

We have successfully housed 429 people in temporary or permanent accommodation since 2020.

Through our support services, 367 of our guests have seen an improvement to their income

We simply cannot do what we do without the ongoing support of our incredible volunteers. 

From supporting our weekly Creative Sessions to working on a one-to-one basis with our mentees, there are many volunteering opportunities at The Bridge Homelessness to Hope.

Real Stories

Everybody that visits The Bridge Homelessness to Hope has a different experience, but there is one common theme which runs through every story: they feel valued, cared for and loved. The Bridge is not just another drop-in centre, but is often the centre of people’s lives.
