Over time we’ve made some wonderful connections with businesses and organisations who believe in the work that we do and want to work with us to keep it going. This can be through office collections of winter clothes or food, taking part in our Big Sleep fundraiser, donating funds for our Christmas meal, or sending us shoes that we can then provide to our guests. When we establish a long term partnership with a business or organisation that wants to help us create a long lasting impact for those who need it the most we call them our Business Champions. Shoezone is our latest Business Champion thanks to their consistent generosity to The Bridge, something we are incredibly appreciative of.
As a business, supporting a charity is a great way to benefit you in terms of social responsibility, team morale, and reputation. By becoming a Business Champion at The Bridge a business has the opportunity to fulfil its Corporate Social Responsibility, access volunteering opportunities for employees, be invited to events and fundraisers held by us, and recognition of your support on The Bridge website and socials.
Which is what we want to do here for shoezone. Shoezone has shown us fantastic support since 2023 such as collecting food to donate, backing our Christmas Campaign, supporting our fundraisers, and, of course, donating shoes and socks. A lot of our guests are people who spend a majority of the day on their feet, so to be able to provide comfortable, sturdy, and weather resistant footwear makes a huge difference.

There is more than one way to get involved with helping The Bridge as a Business Champion; you could make us your charity of the year and by doing so help us to help those who need it the most. You could sponsor our charity, whether this is by having a sleep in, running a marathon, or having a bake sale, sponsorships can be a lot of fun, provide a great team building activity, and benefit us immensely. An easy way to help is by signing up to be a regular donor, by signing up to our Enthuse page your business or organisation can set up an automated monthly payment to The Bridge to provide consistent help to our everyday funding.
